This month was a great one! Well.. Mostly only the end of it was. A change from my normal miserable routine in Wyoming was much needed. I did start a new job and have been thinking about how for the first time in my life I will not be retuning to school in the fast approaching fall. Towards the end of the month, I flew to Las Vegas and for the first time, drove to California for the first time on my own, which was nice excluding the traffic. The next day, my aunt and I flew to New York City out of Los Angeles. It was a wonderful trip and I was very happy to be in the city, but no so much so in the humidity. I walked everywhere, I took the subway by myself, I walked though Greenwich and West Village and the Flatiron District and Midtown, I walked past Grand Central glowing in the night on my way back to the hotel in the evenings. I admired the locals good fashion sense and enjoyed the sound of the train through the grate in the ground and looked through the shops that I couldn't afford. We ate lunch in Central Park and spent a wonderful afternoon at the Met. The city is loud and I admired the view from my petite hotel room. Now I am in Southern California and am ready for another round of adventures, which I will make sure to talk about in my next post!
Here are some other photographs that I took this month and in NYC! See them all in my Digital Photography Gallery.
